For all of my Queens who get silk presses make sure you purchase the oils/serums that I recommend for at home use and apply them very lightly to the lengths and ends of your hair as needed weekly. I recommend 1-3 times weekly to protect your ends from damage and breakage up until your next scheduled appointment.
If you are going to wear it natural make sure you hydrate with a water based spray 1-4 times weekly and moisturize with a hair lotion, hair cream, or hair butter (water based) and then seal with an oil or hair butter (oil based).
Wrap your hair up at night with a silk or satin scarf or bonnet and if you don’t like wrapping your hair make sure you sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase.
You can preserve your curls by pin curling with hair pins or clips or using rollers or flexi rods.
Drink plenty of lemon or lime infused water, eat plenty of fruits and veggies, get your protein in and get plenty of exercise and rest!
Doing all of these things will help your hair to flourish and retain length so that when you come back to see me especially after an extended period of time we won’t have to keep starting your hair journey over.
Love y’all 🫶🏾💕 God bless 😇🙏🏾
tying down your hair properly can help you get a maximum of three weeks out of your quick weave or longer depending on the type of style that you’ve chosen

Moisturising is giving your hair water and helping it stay there.
That is all. No big English.
Simple illustration
Imagine your hair is like sponge.
If sponge is dry, it is hard and breaks easily.
Once you add water, it becomes soft and flexible.
Hair is the same.
Step 1: Water comes first
Hair does not drink oil.
Hair drinks water.
That is why:
You moisturise on damp hair
Or you spray water first
No water = no moisture.
Step 2: Cream helps hold the water
Cream is like food cover.
After water enters the hair, cream:
slows down drying
keeps hair soft
reduces breakage
If cream is not creamy, it cannot do this work.
Step 3: Oil seals it
Oil is like closing the pot lid.
It:
locks the water inside
prevents fast dryness
Oil alone on dry hair is just shining dryness.
Why people say “my hair is still dry”
Because they:
skipped water
used oil only
moisturised once in a long while
Hair dries every day.
So moisture must be refreshed.
Final truth
Moisturising is not magic.
It is water → cream → seal, done consistently.
Growing hair is a skill
🧼 Let’s talk BARBICIDE (for the ones who don’t know)
Barbicide is a professional disinfectant used in the beauty industry to properly sanitize tools that touch hair & scalp.. combs, brushes, clips, shears, etc.
Why it matters 👇🏽
✨ Kills bacteria, fungi & viruses 🦠
✨ Helps prevent scalp issues & cross-contamination
✨ Protects your client AND you
✨ Keeps your business sanitary & professional
How I use it properly:
Clean tools ➝ mix Barbicide as directed ➝ fully submerge ➝ soak 10 minutes ➝ air dry.
Since I’m touching heads, I am sanitizing tools.
Since I charge money, this should already be in my station.
For the ones who already know, we know.
For the ones who didn’t, now you do.
I take pride in my services, 🤗🧼✨
